The Effect of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Strategy towards Reading Comprehension at Tenth Grade Students of Vocational High School 1 Muaro Jambi

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect Cooperative and Integrated Reading Composition Strategy toward student reading comprehension at tenth grade students Vocational High School 1 Muaro Jambi. Th design in was quantitative with experimental approach. population sample were class XTKJ 2 simple random technique. instrument test multiple choice test. data collection pre-test, treatment post-test. analysis by using ttest formula. result found that students’ ability got mean score 43,85 pre-test maximum 55 minimum 30. While post-test 70,14 60 85. Then, control 46,42 76,00 65 55. Based on statistical computation t–test coefficient observation = 2,270, where t-table 1,995. It means there significant (CIRC) indicated Ha accepted H0 rejected. In addition, technique towards mastery
